A mistake turned into a legacy. Once known as Lil Jit—a Florida term for “youngster”—Legit’s journey took a divine turn during his first gospel performance in North Carolina. When he was mistakenly announced as Legit instead of Lil Jit, it marked a powerful transformation in his life and walk with Christ.
Who would have known that a gospel song he wrote in his bedroom in high school would become the beginning of his calling? Since that day, Legit has been preaching the gospel through music, ministering on stages across the nation and using his gift to reach the lost.
Now affiliated with Infiltrate Records out of Jacksonville, Florida, Legit continues to spread the message of hope, purpose, and redemption. His logo—the flamingo—pays tribute to his birthplace, Nassau, Bahamas. More than just a symbol, the flamingo represents transformation, renewal, rebirth, community, and connection. To Legit, it stands for a renewed mind—putting on the mind of Christ—and committing to fellowship with a body of believers united to help others experience that same renewal.
Legit isn’t just a name—it’s a testimony of transformation, purpose, and faith in action.

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth".
2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV)
